The aircraft was unable to perform the return flight however and remained on the ground in Naples for 5 days, then positioned to Munich and is still on the ground in Munich now.
A passenger reported that there had been engine problems with the left hand engine, there were streaks of flame from the engine, the engine was shut down and restarted in flight.
According to information The Aviation Herald received the engine had stalled enroute associated with the loss of rpms, but eventually recovered after about 20 seconds and continued to run normally. Following checks and maintenance in Naples the aircraft positioned to Munich with the engine still showing adverse tendencies. The engine is going to be replaced in Munich.
