A passenger reported that the aircraft encountered what appeared to be turbulence. The first officer came out of the cockpit, apparently they had received several alarms in the cockpit, and checked the back of the aircraft where severe vibrations could be felt. Flight attendants then rushed to prepare the cabin for an emergency landing instructing passengers to stow everything that could come lose hinting the landing might become rough. The aircraft landed a bit firm and "put the anchor in" to slow down, emergency services needed to check the brakes.
On Jun 23rd 2015 the Canadian TSB reported that the crew received indication of a right elevator problem on EICAS, vibrations were felt in the aft cabin and the aft flap control circuit breaker had tripped. Maintenance found that the elevator transmitter rod end had play, loose fasteners were found on a wing to body fairing panel. The loose fasteners were secured, the circuit breaker reset, then the aircraft ferried to the US for further checks and repairs.
The aircraft returned to service on Jun 19th 2015.
