The aircraft remained on the ground in Georgetown about 27 hours, then departed for the flight as flight AA-512Q.
On Aug 22nd 2019 the airline stated the aircraft collided with a cable, that had been laid out without prior notification (NOTAM) and was invisible to the crew.
On Aug 22nd 2019 the airport reported the aircraft went over temporary runway threshold lights at the threshold of runway 06, that had been put up by a certified company as part of the ongoing runway reconstruction works. A proper NOTAM had been issued prior to the works. The runway needed to be closed for 4 hours as result of the occurrence.
The NOTAM Archive does not show any related NOTAM (except the one quoted below) that would suggest temporary runway threshold lights or any runway work in progress on both Aug 20th and Aug 21st 2019.
