The airline confirmed the aircraft returned due to a hydraulic pump failure. The aircraft is undergoing tests, will do a test flight and then carry the passengers to Hurghada.
Radar data show the aircraft preparing for test flight BGY-123T at the moment (Sep 3rd 16:00Z) about 18 hours after landing.
A replacement A320 registration SP-ACK finally performed the flight reaching Enfidha Hurghada with a delay of 22 hours.
The incident aircraft completed the test flight BGY-123T successfully and resumed service about 22.5 hours after departure for flight BGY-1753.
